30th Campaign Launch

arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® is pleased to invite you to attend the launch of our 30th arrive alive DRIVE SOBER summer campaign.

The launch will be held on May 8th, in the St. Lawrence Lounge at 900 Bay St in Toronto from 10:00am until 12:00pm – with speeches beginning at 10:30am.

The arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® campaign has operated across Ontario for 30 years helping to make the roads in Ontario one of the safest in North America. We have a long history of working with police, government, media, community groups and businesses, to spread awareness and share messages about the dangers of impaired driving and preventative strategies. Over the course of the year we share over $100,000 in materials across Ontario (for free) and we receive more than $15 million in donated airtime from media. In recent government focus testing, the ‘arrive alive DRIVE SOBER’ campaign had the #1 “slogan recall” with an 80% recall rate. Our charity does not telemarket nor do we hire professional fundraisers.

This year, we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of our charity. Since our inception, impaired driving fatalities in Ontario have decreased over 75% thanks in part to our messaging, the hard work of our partners and, the countless hours of our dedicated volunteers. Canada has also seen consistent and sustained decreases in impaired driving fatalities. With the legalization of cannabis scheduled for this summer, it is crucial to share our message to remind everyone that drug-impaired driving is just as dangerous as alcohol-impaired driving and to have a plan for a safe ride home. With your help, we can help keep our roads safe.

From our family to yours, thank you for 30 years of sober driving!
