Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving is a registered charity operating in Ontario since 1989 (officially). We have hosted the arrive alive DRIVE SOBER campaign since that time. OCCID does not telemarket, we do not use professional fundraisers. All board members sit in a voluntary capacity.

On Wednesday June 4th, OCCID hosted our 14th annual "Drive Straight" Charity Golf Classic at Mandarin Golf and country Club in Markham.

Since 1995, OCCID Drive Straight Golf Tournaments have raised more than $338,000 to support safe and sober driving on Ontario roads. This year, with the help of our sponsors, the tournament funds netted over $50,000 for our cause, putting our total at almost $390,000 raised in support of sober driving.

Tournament guests enjoyed a host of activities highlighting responsible use in an enjoyable fashion: mocktails, fatal vision putting, straightest drive and giveaways that also link to the issue.

As always, Drive Straight® is available as a responsible use activity for your golf tournament anytime through the summer months.
