arrive alive DRIVE SOBER® is a charity and it is also our signature campaign hosted across Ontario and beyond for 30 years. Working with a committee of dedicated professionals and volunteers we have been able to operate an effective campaign with limited funds and tremendous success. arrive alive DRIVE SOBER involves the production and distribution of materials and messaging to raise awareness around the risks and prevention opportunities relating to impaired driving. We use two themes to keep our message fresh: Choose Your Ride and Shut Out Impaired Driving. Our radio and television public service announcements receive over 15 million dollars of in-kind airplay each year.
We organize meetings and events for people working in the issue of impaired driving; we host an annual conference or workshop; (now known as Arrive Alive Conference) and present at other conferences provincially, nationally and internationally. We provide resources for fundraising events; and we organize Drive Straight®, an annual charity golf tournament and we share information at other golf tournaments as well. arrive alive DRIVE SOBER is also home to iDRIVE and Operation Lookout.
arrive alive DRIVE SOBER is a registered charity (registered as Ontario Community Council on Impaired Driving). We do not telemarket and we do not use professional fundraisers. We are grateful for the wonderful support we receive from our sponsors and partners: The Beer Store, Desjardins Insurance, Ministry of Transportation, CAA South Central Ontario, Molson Coors and Smart Serve Ontario.
Each year we share resources with hundreds of police services, high schools, public health units, community groups, businesses, and more.
